Start with ONHARU
This concise English guide covers the essential workflow. The illustrated Korean guide remains available from the language switch.
1. Install and run
- Download the installer from the official page.
- Confirm the filename and SHA-256. Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning because paid code signing is not yet applied.
- Install and start ONHARU. Existing data under
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Onharuis preserved during updates.
2. Position the calendar
Use Move to resize and position the main window. Use Fixed to place it behind desktop icons. Press Ctrl+Shift+C anywhere to bring ONHARU forward; pressing it again while the movable window is already in front returns it to fixed mode.
Fixed mode is optimized for viewing and direct clicks. Window moving, resizing, hover tips, wheel navigation and drag operations are limited. Switch to Move mode for those actions.
3. Add and edit schedules
Select a date and use New schedule. Choose a local category for private PC-only data, or an editable Google calendar when connected. Double-click an existing item to edit it. Calendar-only and Tasks-only fields remain separated.
4. Google Calendar and Tasks
- Open Settings → Google Calendar settings.
- Choose Login and review the permissions shown by Google.
- ONHARU requests Calendar event access, read-only access to your calendar list, and Google Tasks access together.
- Select which calendars appear and which editable calendar is the default destination.
- Use Logout to remove the locally stored OAuth token. Your Google data remains in Google.
ONHARU does not send Google schedules through an ONHARU calendar server. Sync traffic runs between the app on your PC and Google APIs.
5. Backup and transfer
Settings → Schedule Data provides import, export and schedule management. JSON preserves ONHARU data for backup and restoration; ICS exchanges events with calendar applications; CSV is suitable for spreadsheet review. A safety backup is created before destructive local operations.
6. Themes and accessibility
Choose Pastel or Black, adjust opacity, change week count and configure category colors in Settings. The header can show up to three quick switches. Korean and English app languages require an app restart.
7. Optional KBO schedules
Enable the KBO feature in Settings and enter your own API key when prompted. The key is protected for this Windows account. Review the monthly games, select only the matches you need, and choose a local category or editable Google calendar as the destination.
8. Troubleshooting
If a popup seems to be behind the calendar, switch to Move mode and reopen it. If Google synchronization fails, confirm the internet connection and reconnect the account only when the app asks. Never email passwords, authorization codes, OAuth tokens or API keys. Contact support with the app version and reproducible steps.
